Top 5 best advertising campaigns

Oggi vi mostrerò alcuni scatti provenienti dalle campagne pubblicitarie delle maggiori case cosmetiche, che hanno scelto delle testimonial molto speciali per valorizzare il proprio marchio. Probabilmente avrete già visto alcune di queste foto sugli enormi cartelli pubblicitari sparsi per la città, sugli autobus, o sulle pagine del vostro magazine preferito.

Questa è la mia classifica personale, basata non solo sul trucco realizzato, ma anche sulla scelta della posa e sull'espressività della modella.

Today I'm going to show you some pictures from the more important brand advertising campaigns, that chose such special testimonials to highlight their products! You're likely to have seen some of these photos on the huge advertising posters all over the city, on the bus, or on the pages of your favourite magazines.

Here is my personal rank, based not only on make up, but on the pose chosen and the model's expressiveness.

Mi piace/ I like: il rossetto mat e lo sguardo sognante/ the mat lipstick and the dreamy gaze.

Mi piace/ I like: l'insostituibile Kate e la sua collezione di rossetti/ the irreplaceable Kate and her lipstick collection.

2) Keira Knightley for "Coco Mademoiselle" Chanel perfume
Mi piace/ I like: il trucco occhi e l'attitudine rock di Keira/ the eye make up and Keira's rock attitude. 

 

1) Natalie Portman for "Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet" perfume
Mi piace/ I like: tutto/ everything.

The appeal of edgy make up

Ciao ragazze (e ragazzi)!

Vi è mai capitato di sognare a occhi aperti davanti alle immagini delle passerelle, e di ammirare gli abiti e il trucco scelto per le sfilate? Oggi il make up è diventato un elemento indispensabile per creare il mood di ogni collezione, e per donare alle modelle un'aria accattivante, talvolta edgy e trasgressiva. Il trucco diventa così uno degli assi portanti di una sfilata, e colpisce per la propria creatività e rottura degli schemi.

In questo post voglio darvi un assaggio dei trucchi più edgy e provocatori che sono comparsi sulle passerelle delle grandi firme. Sono sicura che saranno di ispirazione a molti di voi!

Have you ever daydream about the catwalks and admire the clothes and make up chosen by the designers? Nowadays make up has become an essential element: it creates the mood of every collection, and makes the models look charming, sometimes edgy and transgressive. So make up turns into one of the fashion show's focal points, and affects the audience for its creativity and break with tradition.  

In this post I want to give you a taste of the edgier and most provocative make up looks which appeared on the designer brands runway. I'm sure they will ispire many of you!

Nella collezione Primavera/Estate 2013 di Chanel il ruolo da protagonista spetta al pizzo, che rende elegante, pur nella sua stravaganza, anche il make up occhi. Per l'anno successivo il marchio francese punta su un effetto grafico, trasformando i visi delle modelle in tele da dipingere.

In Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 collection the lead role lie with lace, which makes the eye make up more elegant, and yet bizarre. The next year the french brand count on a graphic effect, turning the model's face into a canva to be painted.

Come possiamo vedere, anche l'eccentrica Vivienne Westwood dimostra che il viso può fungere da supporto per creare delle vere e proprie opere d'arte, alcune frutto della mano di Val Garland, una delle make up artist più dotate in circolazione!

As you can see, even Vivienne Westwood proves that face can function as a fabric to create a real work of art. Some of these are the result of Val Garland's touch: she's one of the best Make up artist around!

Hi everyone! Today I'll show you what's in my purse...

Nella borsa di ogni fashionista (e di ogni make up addict) non dovrebbero mai mancare i trucchi! Io porto sempre con me un mascara e un rossetto, per fare dei ritocchi durante la giornata. Questa volta ho scelto il "Rouge coco" di Chanel (17 Orchidée) e il mascara "They're real!" della Benefit.

Il profumo "Funny" di Moschino è in assoluto il mio preferito: adoro il suo aroma di agrumi!

Non dimentico mai a casa i miei Ray-Ban...ci sono così affezionata! E che dire del mio portachiavi con la Tour Eiffel...già dal primo post avrete capito che sono innamorata di Parigi <3

Cosmetics are a must in the purse of any fashionista (and any make up addict)! I always bring with me a mascara and a lipstick, so I can retouch my make up during the day. This time I chose "Rouge coco" by Chanel (17 Orchidée) and "They're real!" mascara by Benefit.

"Funny" perfume by Moschino is definitely my favourite one: I love its citrus aroma!

I never forget my Ray-Ban sunnies...I love them so much! What can I say about my key chain with the Tour Eiffel...you must have understood I am in love with Paris <3
